The key to your cottage will be in the door waiting for you. You don’t need to check in so you can go straight to your cottage. If you arrive after dark the lights will be left on for you.
You will need to bring all your food and beverages, good walking shoes, gumboots if it has been raining and a camera if you would like to take some memories of your visit. If you enjoy bike riding bring your bikes as well.
Check in time is 3pm and check out time is noon. Should you wish to vary this please let us know in advance and we will do everything possible to accommodate you.
On arrival you will find a welcome tray of fresh eggs, sourdough bread and milk, homemade jams and assorted other condiments – instant coffee and tea, plunger coffee, sugar and salt and pepper of course, to start you off. The cottages are well equipped with a good assortment of cooking utensils, microwave and an integrated CD player and radio. Beds are made up with quality 100% cotton sheets and doonas. They also have electric blankets fitted. Towels and tea towels are supplied as well.
Your central heating system is a potbelly stove in all cottages except Sunnybank, which has a wood burning fireplace. There is firewood stacked near your door for your convenience. There is a water-cooled fan during the summer months.
Fresh water is supplied throughout the farm from springs high in the mountain.
Laundry facilities are located at The Silos. There is washing powder left there for your use.
There is an ambulance station in Kangaroo Valley and major hospitals in both Nowra and Bowral a half an hour away.
